Set of two lead and pewter pilgrimage signs, one decorated with Saints Peter and Paul, the second with a bust of the Virgin and Child in a crescent. Rome, 13th century and London, circa 1500 Heights: 3.2 and 2.5 cm - Widths: 2.4 and 2 cm (accidents and missing pieces) The British Museum holds a sign of the same subject of the Virgin and Child on a crescent (inv.1848,0729.3).
