TBE+. 30 X 42 cm Christian Jacot (1952) is an illustrator from Brussels who masters a variety of techniques. He had the pleasure of collaborating with André Franquin on a very rare edition of Gaston Lagaffe's "Gaffes à SOLMER". He has worked with Peyo, Francis Bertrand, Luc Mazel, Christian Denayer and Daniel Kox, as well as with Franz on the San Antonio comics and many other artists. In the 70s, he was a member of the "Pilote" magazine team in Belgium, working with Jean Graton on cars and backgrounds. He was an extremely precise draftsman, but also a talented painter. He has become a master in the art of caricature and humorous scenes, as well as more serious pastiches on the themes of comics, cinema, cult series, historical facts, cars and more. He spent 25 years in the advertising business, producing an impressive number of illustrations and designing stamps for the Belgian Post Office, as well as illustrating children's books.
