Osi/Orignal cover created for the 16-page short story "L'appel de la croix" published in Tintin in 1984. Published in the album "Les meuilleurs récits T35" by Hibou in 2015. Signed and dated March 1984. Superb quality of execution entirely in watercolor. Very rare. TBE+. 30 X 40 cm André Osi (1958-2021) opted for the graphic arts and studied with Claude Renard and François Schuiten at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels. His tastes run to classical, traditional comics. He began publishing short stories for the "Journal Tintin", based on a script by Yves Duval. Later, he drew a few more stories for "Hello Bédé". Finally, Yves Sente, editorial director of Le Lombard, offered him the script for "Horizon Blanc" and introduced him to its author: Pascal Renard. A fruitful collaboration was born. It was the superb 4-volume "Napoléon" series that would take him to the next level apd 2009...
