He began his career with Hergé at the Studios, where he worked with Jacques Martin, Bob de Moor, Edgar P. Jacobs and Roger Leloup. He then went on to work for Tintin magazine and Belvision's animated features. He also worked as colorist for FL Funcken and Paul Cuvelier. Although Jeronaton's work does not feature any recurring heroes, certain themes are frequently evoked: the primeval forests of South America, pre-Columbian civilizations and Däniken or Charroux's theories on extraterrestrials. The author "seeks to share his questions and his wonder at the myths and mysteries of our planet's history".
