Beautiful travel, country or picnic set in the shape of a small barrel comprising various silver, steel or ebony pieces or utensils, including: a straight flat-bottomed plain silver tumbler, a folding silver fork and spoon with ebony handles and escutcheon, a folding knife with steel blade and ebony handle with escutcheon, an ebony and ivory condiment case, a small silver spoon. RESTAURATION period - PARIS 1819. Goldsmith for the timbale: Sixte-Simon RION, specialized in goblets and timbales, registered in 1807. Goldsmith for the flatware: P. CHENEAUX, specialized in cutlery, registered in 1810. In its mahogany carrying case inlaid with brass and trimmed with green velvet. Length: 13cm.
