A Swiss Coffee Grinder with Seat/Stabiliser Board
Switzerland, ca 1850. the attached seat/stabaliser board was created for a person to sit on while grinding the beans. Large models like these where often used in coffee houses, or a Roadhouse where large amounts of coffee had to be grinded continously for customers. ca. 37 x 77 x 25 cm.
