The group comprising: an Edwardian example, Birmingham, 1909, William Aitken, of rectangular form, engraved with scrolling foliate motifs and with initials within shaped cartouche to cover, gilding to interior, 8.8 x 7.3cm; a further Edwardian example, London, 1909, Sampson Mordan & Co., retailed by Mappin & Webb, the rectangular body with a hammered finish, engraved initials to cover, 9 x 7.3cm; a George V example, Birmingham, 1918, Levi & Salaman, the plain body of squared curved form and with initials within circular cartouche engraved to cover, presentation engraving and dated to interior, gilding to interior, 8.2cm wide; a further George V example, Birmingham, 1917, Henry Williamson, the plain body of rectangular form, with engraved initials and dated 1919 to cover, 8.5 x 9cm; a George V small example, Birmingham, 1922, Barclay Brothers, the plain body of rectangular form and with engraved initials to cover, gilding to interior, 8.5cm x 6cm; and a small Chinese export example, possibly Tuck Chang & Co., Shanghai, the rectangular body with a hammered finish and with Chinese auspicious characters for Shau (long life) and Fu (wealth/fortune) embossed within shaped cartouches to sides, gilding to interior, 7.9 x 6.7cm, total weighable silver approx. 15ozt (6)
