An Edwardian Scottish silver trinket box. Thomas Smith & Sons, Edinburgh, 1908. Of shaped form, the body repousse decorated with chinoiserie scenes, the hinged cover with scroll border, pierced and decorated with scrolling floral and foliate motifs, 12cm wide. Together with a group of silver items, including: a pair of napkin rings, Birmingham, 1952, John Rose, engraved with scrolling floral and foliate motifs and reeded bandings, in fitted case; two four division toast racks, Birmingham, 1940, Wilson & Sharp, 8cm long; a further Edwardian trinket box, Birmingham, 1906, Deakin & Francis, of shaped oval form, raised on four pad feet, gilding to interior, 6.8cm wide; a George V condiment set comprising mustard pot, pepper shaker and salt cellar, Chester, 1914, Stokes & Ireland, the mustard pot raised on a stepped circular foot, with scrolling handle and blue glass liner, the salt cellar of circular form and raised on a spreading circular foot, liner deficient; an Edwardian cup holder, Birmingham, 1906, Grey & Co., on a moulded circular foot, with pierced body, 9.5cm high; and other small oddments, total weighable silver approx. 16.6ozt (a lot)
