The oval bodies with applied classical decoration featuring garlands, ram heads and a putto playing the harp within oval cartouches, engraved initials to sides, both the cellars on rectangular bases raised on four bud feet and with blue glass liners, 9.3cm wide. The salt cellars together with a group of silver items and flatware, including: a Greek gilded replica of a Kalathos cup, stamped 925 to underside, repousse decorated with scrolling wave motifs along the flared rim and with beaded decoration applied to central section of the body, gilding to interior, 11.1cm high; a pair of American silver mounted glass ashtrays by Frank M. Whiting & Co., stamped sterling, 9.5cm dia.; a part set of five Fiddle pattern Victorian coffee spoons, London, 1848, Chawner & Co., with lion crest engraved to terminals, 12.2cm long; a part set of five Victorian cake forks, London, 1873, Chawner & Co., with scrolling decoration to handles, 13.5cm long; a set of six George V blue and white enamelled spoons with coffee bean termninals, Birmingham, 1933, Turner & Simpson, 10cm long, in fitted case; a set of six coffee spoons, London, 1938-1939, Josiah Williams & Co., 8.7cm long, in fitted case; and various other items of flatware, total weighable silver approx. 24.6ozt (a lot)
