A late Victorian four piece silver tea set. Martin Hall & Co., Sheffield, 1899 and 1900. Comprising a teapot, water kettle on stand, sugar and milk jug, each piece designed with beaded rim and reeded stylised foliate handles, the part lobed bodies chased with a band of foliage to shoulders, the teapot with ivory insulators to handle, the kettle with a fixed woven wicker handle and raised on an openwork stand with three beaded pad feet, burner deficient, both the teapot and kettle with hinged covers and lobed finials, teapot 13.6cm high (inc. handle), kettle on stand 29.8cm high, total weight approx. 71.5ozt (4) Ivory submission reference: K112N238
