South Africa Flight Officer's Dagger 1965

Straight steel blade, rhombic, nickel plated. There is a number on the heel and the mark of Eichhorn Solingen. The wooden handle is covered with white shark skin. The head of the handle is cylindrical with a peg .decorated with belts in the form twisted rope. Cross in the shape of an eagle. On the guard there is the inscription PER ASPERA AD ASTRA-Through thorns to the stars. Wooden scabbard covered with leather. On the cover there is an image of the coat of arms of South Africa. All brass parts are gilded. The dirk is currently worn by Air Force officers and presidential officers security of South Africa. Dirk complete with belt and pendants. Blade length 23.6 cm. Total length 36.6 cm. The condition is good.; Condition-I

Unknown, late 19th - early 20th century. Bayonet punch. In nickel-plated steel with four finger holes and a small triangular blade that can be unscrewed at one end. Size without blade: 10 x 5.5 cm. Size with blade: 17.5 x 5.5 cm. (The nickel finish is oxidized. Fairly good condition).

Ten-strand fluted brass frame, with a longitudinal groove down the middle on one side, and a straight quillon cruise ending in a ball. Nickel-plated steel blade with two cutting edges and median groove. No maker's mark or hallmark. 59 cm (46.5 cm). (Slight stains and traces of rusty oxidation on the blade. Good condition.)
