Cavalry officer's saber. Total length - 1140mm. The length of the blade with the handle (without sheath) is 1120 mm. Blade length without handle – 950mm. The blade width at the heel is 254mm. Sheath length – 967mm. The saber blade is steel, straight, single-edged (the combat end is double-edged, with a stiffening rib), monocotyledonous (one fuller is wide). The heel area is not highlighted. The hilt of the saber consists of a handle and a guard; its metal parts are made of steel. The scabbard of the saber is all-metal steel.
