Gilded bronze and white marble HANGER, allegory of Time, depicting a nymph and a putti supporting the movement contained in a richly decorated bollard with foliage races, raisins, laurel leaves and a ribbon bow. Enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals. It is signed, as is the plate, Lieutaud in Paris. White marble base. Louis XVI period. Minor chips. H. 38 L. 22 D. 14 cm Jean-Joseph LIEUTAUD (1720-1780), member of a dynasty of Parisian watchmakers.
