Large Masonic pendant in gilded metal with compass motif, centered on a sun and topped with the Masonic symbol. The compass is decorated with blue enamel foliage and geometric friezes. The ruler bears the inscription on the reverse: "token of respectful friendship offered by the members of the Parfaite Union Lodge Number 17 to their Past-master F. Masson San Fransisco December 13, 1878". Late 19th century H : 10,5 the ruler has been loosened from the compass and there is an accident to one of the sun's attachment rods.
