Allegory of Comedy, after The Monument to Émile Augier Bronze with light-brown patina Signed. Foundry mark "Susse Frres Edts". Height: 53 cm (Missing marble plaque) This bronze depicting a woman holding a stylus in her right hand and a sprig of laurel in her left is a reduction of the Comédie figure engraving Émile Augier's name on the pedestal of the monument erected in tribute to the poet and playwright in 1895 on the Place de l'Odéon in Paris.
