ATTRIBUÉ À HENRY DASSON FIN XIXe SIÈCLE

Louis XV-style wall-mounted cartel in ebony and brass inlays, with rich ornamentation in chased and gilded bronze, displaying the clock, barometer and thermometer. The upper part features a gilded bronze figure of Chronos in gilded bronze amidst clouds, below the dial with white enamel cartouche, the center with chased decoration, indication of the hours in Roman numerals, double opening for the winding square of the clock mechanism. The central part features a barometer hand that can be set to three different positions: "rainy", "changeable" and "fine weather". The upper part is richly decorated with a gilded bronze mascaron, while the sides feature bronzes with acanthus leaf motifs. The lower part is adorned with a graduated thermometer in Arabic numerals, with a scale up to 45 degrees Celsius. Height : 150 cm LITERATURE H. Ottomeyer/P. Pröschel, Vergoldete Bronzen, vol.
