CANON with the coat of arms of Michel Avice de Mougon (1713-1779), lieutenant of the marshals of France, and his wife Perrine Catherine Forien (1721-1798). Bronze shaft, tuliped at the mouth, with two tourrillons and four reinforcement rings, adorned with a banner marked "LARIVAN". Chased dolphin handles, rounded breech plug. Wooden carriage with spoke wheels (wear). Iron wheel rims and fittings. A.B.E. 18th century barrel (circa 1760). Nineteenth-century stock. Barrel length: 59 cm. Muzzle diameter: 3.5 cm. Total length with stock: 104 cm. (Traces of oxidation, used condition, some missing parts and accidents). We would like to thank Mr. Alban Pérès for his help in identifying the coat of arms. History: Michel Avice de Mougon (1713-1779), seigneur de Surimeau, lieutenant of the marshals of France in Niort. He was also a musketeer. He married Perrine Catherine Forien (1721-1798) around 1753. A French model of a naval gun, 19th century Brass barrel in 8 mm caliber with a strongly cannon muzzle and slightly stepped barrel sections, frosted middle section with strong trunnions, ignition hole on the rear section in front of the sight ring, breech with an almost spherical cluster. Barrel length 20.5 cm. On a detailed mount with iron fittings, elevation adjustment mechanism and two iron-reinforced disk wheels. Barrel and mount do not belong together. Total length 23 cm. Condition: II

A French model of a naval gun, 20th century Bronze barrel in 11 mm caliber with a cannon muzzle and baluster set-off barrel sections, the middle section with a sturdy trunnion, the ignition hole on the rear section in front of the sighting ring, the breech with an almost spherical cluster. Barrel length 21 cm. On iron-fitted wooden mount with four wooden disk wheels. Total length 23 cm. Condition: II
