JOSEPH BOZE (1745-1826)

˜ Portrait in miniature on ivory of octagonal form painted with gouache on ivory depicting a man in a blue frock coat. Signed on the right: Boze. The miniature is inscribed in an octagonal yellow gold frame suspended by a bélière. On the reverse is hairwork forming the interlaced initials "DC". France, late 18th century. Height (excluding bélière): 6.5 cm - Width: 6.6 cm Gross weight: 41 g.
