SVEND-AAGE HOLM-SORENSEN (Denmark, 1913-2004). Floor lamp "Fishing rod", 1960s. Teak wood, iron and brass. Cream-colored cylindrical lampshade. Measurements: 70 x 163 cm. The "Fishing Pole" floor lamp rises on a cast iron foot that balances the teak pole with brass details. The cylindrical shade is suspended from the top of the "pole". Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen was a designer who specialized in lamp making. He began his design career in the 1950s and many of his creations feature metal surfaces with various ornaments and Punctures. He also designed furniture and small objects.
