Rectangular-shaped flat desk in rosewood veneer with diamond-point decoration. It opens with three drawers, including a central recessed drawer. The top is sheathed in gilded black leather and encircled by a wide molded moulding embellished with spandrels. It is adorned with chased and gilded bronze trim: lock escutcheons, drop handles with dolphins, gadrooned clasps, frames, falls and set lion's paw hooves. Paris. Late 19th - early 20th century.
