Jacques Antoine CAILLOIS, received Master in 1748 PAIR OF LARGE ARMCHAIRS in natural wood, molded and carved, decorated with flowers and acanthus leaves, the armrests with cuffs on whiplash brackets, the base sinuous. Stamped JACaillois. Louis XV period. Beige fabric upholstery. Height 96; Width 65; Depth 56 cm. (Good overall condition, some wear and tear). Note. Similar model illustrated in Kjellberg's Le Mobilier du XVIIIème siècle.
