CHINA, 18th CENTURY, QING PERIOD STANDING ROOSTER Enameled porcelain, perched on a rock, head slightly turned, one leg raised. The plumage in lightly celadonized white enamel contrasts with the brown glaze of the rocks. The crest, barbel and ear flaps are enameled bright red. Mounted on a Louis XVI period gadrooned marble base. Height. 44 cm. Accents, restoration to the crest.
