*TRIPOD POURER in silver, with alternating hollow ribs and plain sides, monogrammed G. D, with scrolled feet and shell-shaped attachments. The covered hinged pourer has a fruit-shaped fretel. Blackened turned wood side handle, the mantle is square. BERGUES, circa 1770-1780 (letter P) Master Goldsmith : M.D.B. for Martin Winoc Dubois Gross weight : 1.000 g H. 26 cm (Posterior monogram, restorations, slight bumps, pierced versoir) Note: Our coffee pot is illustrated in Guy Messiant and Christian Pfister's book, "Orfèvrerie en Flandre", on the occasion of the exhibition "Orfèvrerie en Flandre" at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Dunkerque in 1981, at which it was presented.
