Marked on the base in brown: A. Caasmann. Green mark under the glaze: Rosenthal / Kunst-Abteilung / SELB-BAVARIA. 1st choice. H. 25 cm. - Lit.: E. Niecol, Rosenthal. Kunst- und Zierporzellan 1897-1945, vol. 2, cat. no. 3.0060 (model no. 304). - Prov.: Private collection. Designed by Albert Caasmann (1886-1968) in 1913, who lived in Berlin and Brandenburg an der Havel. Designed a total of 40 figures for the Rosenthal art department in Selb between 1912 and 1923.
