Description
Émile GALLÉ (1846 - 1904) Mahogany-stained, molded and carved walnut and walnut burl veneer showcase with curved quadrangular body opening on the front through a glass door onto an interior with three height-adjustable glass shelves and a cabinet back decorated with inlaid wood of different species of dragonflies and a weeping willow in a lakeside landscape. Front uprights sculpted with kingfishers at the top and terminated by four small ribbed curved legs joined at the front by a curved belt decorated with lianas in bas-relief. Upper entablature with curved body and stained walnut appliqué with creeper decoration. Signed in the marquetry. Height 156 cm - Length 71 cm - Depth 47 cm Original mahogany-style stained walnut keys.
