Hamelin"; the first bears a trace of inscription on the reverse of the cardboard. Front head study 21.5 x 15.5 cm; Profile head study 19 x 14.5 cm. (Old restorations and missing pieces) A plaster study of a Moor's head is included, as are three exhibition medals from the Académie Royale des Beaux-arts dated 1833, 1861 and 1862, a course inscription and a photograph of Gustave Hamelin.
