The 5711/1A-001 is the very first series launched. It remained in production until 2009, when it was discontinued in favor of ref. 5711/1A-010, which appeared in 2010 and introduced the Patek Philippe hallmark. Our example, stamped with the Geneva hallmark, is considered by collectors to be the contemporary version of the Nautilus 3700. While the Nautilus 5711 remained in the catalog for 15 years, from 2006 to 2021, the so-called "first-generation" or "Geneva Seal" versions, such as the one presented here, are indisputably the most sought-after. In 2006, Patek Philippe introduced the ref. 5711 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its iconic Nautilus. The 5711/1A-001 is the very first series launched.
