Gare Saint-Lazare, Hôtel Terminus. Album in plano, half-leather cloth binding (71.3 x 56.8 cm). Title in gilt lettering on upper cover. Twelve photographic prints on albumen paper, featuring the Gare Saint-Lazare, after 1889 (Juste Lisch, architect, E. Clerc, ingénieur en chef des ponts-et-chaussées, directeur des travaux des chemins de fer de l'ouest): west facade on rue de Rome, hall, staircase, station buffet, two views of the dining room, facade, interior staircase, two chimneys, colonnade of an exterior corner, of the Hôtel Terminus. Rare. Mottling to binding. Missing: the station facade on the Cour de Rome, a second view of the station hall, a view of the station enfiladed from the Cour de Rome, a general view of the Hotel Terminus, a corner of the Hotel Terminus on the Cour du Havre side, an interior view of the Hotel Terminus. The current facades of the station and Hotel Terminus were erected between 1885 and 1889 for the 1889 Universal Exhibition. REFERENCES.
