Enameled dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. The cartel and lamp base form a bronze set. With key, gong and pendulum. Napoleon III period Reference: This is a replica of a cartel attributed to André-Charles Boulle, a cabinetmaker, foundryman and gilder under Louis XIV, in the Metropoliatn Museum.
