Pierre MILAN The Dance of the Dryads, circa 1540 Burin after Rosso Fiorentino, 27.5 x 40 cm, cut at the subject and without the lower tablet (Robert-Dumesnil (as Boyvin) 74, Zerner PM 1), fine proof with Hondius address, small hole in the sky on the right, wetness, vertical fold, slight flaws in the corners, watermark: crowned Ecu? Also by Marc-Antoine Raimondi, Jeune Femme réfléchissant, burin (Bartsch 443, Delaborde 202), fine proof and by G.G. Caraglio and A. Veneziano, two plates lacking preservation. Set of 4 pieces.
