She worked for many companies, including:- The Actors Theatre Company, Cambridge Theatre Company, Prospect at the Old Vic, Oxford Playhouse, The Royal Opera, The Royal Ballet, English National Opera & Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, National Theatre, Welsh National Opera, RSC, Aix-en-Provence Festival, Dutch National Ballet, Chicago Opera, Vienna State Opera, Israel Opera, Drottningholm in Sweden and at the Bouffe du Nord, Paris. She also worked with Akram Kahn and was part of the creative team in Peter Brook’s widely acclaimed adaptation of The Mahabharata. Among her many film credits are;- Batman & Robin, Last Emperor, Excaliber, Dune(1983), Restoration, Man in the Iron Mask, Troy and Nuns on the Run. All the designs in this auction are by designers Ba had worked for, many of whom were close friends.
