Prof. Walter Klemm, large bundle of lithographs approx. 92 sheets of lithographs on thin Japanese paper, circa 1920, each signed in lead "WKlemm" and mostly monogrammed "WKl" in the print, slight traces of age, sheet dimensions approx. 31.5 x 22 cm. Artist information: German painter, graphic artist and illustrator (1885 Karlsbad [Karlovy Vary] to 1957 Weimar), studied art history at Vienna University under Julius von Schlosser 1901-04, parallel studies at the Kunstgewerbeschule and the Vienna Academy under Anton von Kenner, Kolo Moser, F. Myrbach and others, 1905 took part in the Vienna Secession exhibition and moved to Prague, 1906 shared a studio with Carl Thiemann in Libotz near Prague, from 1908 in the Dachau artists' colony, 1910 member of the Berlin Secession, 1913 appointed professor at the Weimar Academy, undertook numerous study trips, received several honours, including honorary senator of the Weimar University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in 1952, member of the Association of Visual Artists (VBK) of the GDR, source: Thieme-Becker, Vollmer, Eisold "Artists in the GDR", Dressler and Internet.

Otto Paetz, Sammlung Graphiken consisting of 20 cards with inserted and hand-signed etchings, mostly addressed to the Weimar-based painter Klaus Bose, one unsigned etching and three invitations to exhibitions by the artist, created between 1977 and the end of the 1980s, mostly in good condition, maximum size approx. 12 x 22 cm. Artist info: German painter and graphic artist. Painter and graphic artist (1914 Cunsdorf near Reichenbach/Vogtland to 2006 Zella-Mehlis), 1928-31 apprenticeship as a decorative painter in Reichenbach, 1935-39 studied at the Weimar master school for crafts and applied arts, 1939 master's examination, 1941-45 studied at the Weimar academy and master student of Walther Klemm, then freelance in Weimar, later in Zella-Mehlis, 1962-88 leader of painting and drawing circles, member of the VBK of the GDR, received various honours, including the Art Prize of the City of Weimar in 1963 and the Art Prize of the GDR in 1971, appointed honorary citizen of Reichenbach in 2004, source: Vollmer, Eisold "Artists in the GDR" and Internet.
