Probably Russia, 19th century. Tempera over chalk ground on 2 wooden panels, held together by 2 backing ponki. 38 x 31.5 cm. Depicting the saint on a brown horse leaping to the right and thrusting his spear at the Turkish king, who is clinging to a white horse below. Two men and an angel hold the image of the saint in front of an architectural backdrop at top right, Christ's head at top left. - Some rubbing at the top, some chipping at the gap between the panels.
