Viggo Langer, On the beach at Rågeleje View over the wide beach of the present-day seaside resort and former fishing village of Rågeleje on the Danish north coast of Zealand at dawn, low impasto, impressionistic landscape painting, Weilbach comments: "... Viggo Langer painted landscapes and village settings that show the influence of artists of the Golden Age, especially Vilhelm Kyhn and Johan Thomas Lundbye. Like them, he mainly depicted the landscape of Zealand, but with a stronger focus on colour and light.
