Der legendäre Berliner Dichter- und Künstlerkreis "Tunnel über der Spree" bestand von 1827 bis 1898 und prägte maßgeblich das gesellschaftlich-literarische Leben der Stadt. Theodor Fontanes war eines der prominentesten Mitglieder und blieb dem Verein bis zu seinem Tod 1898 treu. Die Beiträger tarnten sich hinter Pseudonymen berühmter Namen wie Petrarca (Ludwig Lesser), Cook (Christian Friedrich Scherenberg), Maler Müller (Hugo von Blomberg), Claudius (George Hesekiel), Spinoza (Rudolf Löwenstein), Bürger (Heinrich Smidt), Tasso (Hugo von Bülow), Immermann (Wilhelm von Merckel) u. a. - Theodor Fontane veröffentlichte hier zwei Gedichte von 1852 und 1856 unter dem Namen des früher erfolgreichen Trivialautors Lafontaine. - Im oberen Drittel schwach wasserrandig, sonst gutes Exemplar.
