Koeman 3614 (2nd state). - The map, with Latin text on the verso, comes from an early edition of Braun-Hogenberg's "Civitates Orbis Terrarum". The city of Rome is depicted from a bird's eye view. The lower half of the sheet contains a comprehensive legend of the buildings, monuments and other features depicted. - Some browning, faded red trace of paint in lower margin, minimal marginal fissures. In the upper right corner just above the platemark with hs. Numbering. R
