Contains numerous portrait and reel photos, some signed or with dedication on verso, including: Martha Hecht, Hedwig Felden, Leon Resemann, Adele Diermayr, Louis Krastel, Rudolf Christians, etc. - Partly. The photographs inserted in cont. cloth album with cord binding. On the album sheets mostly inscribed and dated (album somewhat light-stained). - Depicting impressions of a four-week trip from Nikko to Lake Chuzenji with the Kegon Falls to Yumoto and Numata. Onwards to Nagano and Kusatsu to the Shirane volcano and Zusaka and Nagano. Finally from Matsumoto to Nagoya with a visit to the Catholic mission of the Steyler Missionaries. - With some lith. postcards, some with typographical inscription on recto and cont. photographs by others. - Partly slightly silvered or discoloured in margins, but overall very well preserved and comprehensive collection.
