First edition - In this work sculptures, houses, rivers, the Collosseum, ruins, coachmen, landscape scenes, villas, all the places that make Rome special and special, are photographed and described. Heidtmann writes: "These editions with photographs cannot be found in any bibliographical aid, nor in Tauchnitz's publishing directories... It can be assumed that in the 1960s photography dealers in the large Italian tourist cities produced such editions for travelers or sold ready-made ones... sold them. Very different photographs can be found with the same titles". - 4 plates missing. Photographs faded, slightly browned, sporadically stained.
