Mary with Infant Jesus and St John the Baptist Portrait of Mary enthroned in an evening landscape, with the infant Jesus in her arms, devoutly watched by the childlike St John the Baptist, slightly impasto baroque genre painting, oil on canvas, probably 18th cent, unsigned, craquelure, the stretcher showing through, the old backing somewhat wavy, in need of restoration, framed in a beautiful 19th century gilt stucco frame, remains of an old cardboard backing on the reverse, rebate dimensions approx. 41.5 x 34.5 cm.
