Resurrection scene. Flemish, 16th century oak. Previously painted. Flattened on the reverse. Missing parts. Approx. 43 cm. Resurrection scene, strongly applied to the underside. Jesus rises from the tomb. Two sleeping soldiers in the foreground, the head of another soldier visible on the right of the tomb slab. On the left, correspondingly, the head of Joseph of Arimathea. In the back row are the three women, some with ointment jars. Mary of Magdala (Mary Magdalene); Mary, mother of James and, according to the Gospel of Mark, Salome (Mk 16, 1-8); or, according to the Gospel of Luke, Joanna (Lk 24, 1-2). D
