Iron Art. Copenhagen. Bronze miniature chest with inscription on the inside, Battle of Lijndanisse June 15, 1219. Length approx. 19.5 cm. Depth approx. 9.5 cm. H approx. 9 cm. This historical bronze casket commemorates the Battle of Lyndanisse, which is said to be the origin of the Danish flag. An important historical date for the Danes! The casket is made of heavy bronze with a depiction of the battle on the front, two handles, four feet and a description of the battle in Danish and English on the inside of the lid. The back is marked Copenhagen Denmark. R
