Haeften, Hans Bernd von, Diplomat and resistance fighter against National Socialism (1905-1944). Double card with glued photo of the bridal couple on the front, inside double sheet with music and menu. - Together 2 parts, signs of use and age. Hans Bernd von Haeften was arrested on July 23 after the assassination attempt of July 20, 1944. On August 15, he stood before the People's Court, where he described Hitler as "the great executor of evil". Sentenced to death, he was hanged on the same day. D
