[Empress Eugenie Bonaparte] Beautiful set containing: Eugenie's autograph: "souvenir du 1er juin 1879 ! Eugénie". An astonishing autograph on the day of her son's death, which she obviously only learned of later. a letter from the Duc de Bassano (1879) concerning Eugenie's receipt of a petition from the inhabitants of Clignancourt following the death of the Prince Imperial. Three canivets of the Prince Imperial with photographic reproduction. A photo of the prince after his death (serial reproduction of the period). A thank-you card from the Prince Imperial, dated August 15, 1873 (his speech). A fabric flower and small blue-white-red fabrics. A "la jeune garde" newspaper paying tribute to the Prince Imperial.
