Topographia Alstiae completa, That is: a complete description and detailed illustration of the most distinguished towns and villages in Upper and Lower Alsace, also the neighboring Sundgöw, Brissgöw, Graffschafft Mümpelgart, and other areas. With 33 (st. 37) (partly multiple) folded plates. Frankfurt a.M., Johann Georg Spörlin for M. Merian, 1663 [recte ca. 1690]. Folio. [8] pp., 70 p. 19th century half leather with gilt-stamped spine label. (Somewhat rubbed and bumped). Wüthrich IV, 18. Brunet 1529. Graesse VII, 509 - Third edition with the misspelled title "Alstaiae", not mentioned by Wüthrich. - With views, plans and maps of Alsace. - The views of Porrentruy, Dabo/Dagsburg/Dambach-La-Ville, Heitersheim/Dachstein, Lichtenberg/Ottmarsheim/Rötteln and Rheinfelden as well as text pages 9-10 are missing, but with an additional, loose view of Mulhouse (not in Wüthrich). - Somewhat browned, slightly foxed. Title page with clipping (probably removed stamp), preface with old backed tear. - Mounted bookplate "Biblipola F. Gangloff Mulhusiensis FG" on rear endpaper.
