Lace, sequins and borders. Pattern catalog and pattern sheets with approx. 70 original fabric samples. 1 fanfold album (29 x 15 cm) and 100 further original patterns on individual sheets. Germany late 19th century. Rich treasure trove of samples of Brussels and probably also Parisian lace. The album contains a light-blue toned paper fanfold with 15 sheets with approx. 70 white and black laces, each with order numbers, as well as 38 lace borders, including at least 20 older hand-knotted ones from the 19th century. A card with 11 brocade borders in various colors as well as further borders mounted on cards in all kinds of fabrics and techniques, including bobbin lace, knots, weaving, braiding, loops, with gold brocade, sequins, silk brushes, pearls, silver plates, gold and silver braiding, rabbit fur applications and much more. - Some with signs of wear, the bows with creases and holes, the designs mostly in good condition.
