Schmid. 6 p., 101 p., 1 sheet. Oprgt. (hand binding Emil Kretz) with ribbed boards, woodcut on front board and gilt headpieces. Ex. no. 481 (= paperback ex.), but printer's mark with inscription and signature: "Exemplare des Illustrators Nr. 12, Karl Schmid" (of XXXIII ex. with the ink drawing), which according to the printer's mark were bound in brown Levant goatskin, but here in full vellum.

Remnants of kaolin around the eyes. Dark brown patina with clear signs of wear. Age-related chips around the edge of the chin. Min. dam. EUR 10'000 - 15'000".
