Logic. German manuscript on paper. Germany (Marburg?) around 1850, written in flowing cursive in black-brown ink. 31 (recte 32), 32, 32, 32, 27 pp., 1 leaf. Hardcover (more heavily worn, rubbed). Lecture transcript. - Franz Theodor Waitz (1821-1864, cf. ADB XL, 629 ff.), philosopher, psychologist and pedagogue, was best known for his six-volume work "Die Anthropologie der Naturvölker" and his critical edition of Aristotle's "Organon". Together with Zeller, Waitz was the outstanding philosopher of the post-March period in Marburg. His remarks on logic were probably never printed. - Without front flyleaf. Slightly browned, some foxing at the beginning. D
