Medals Luigi Manfredini (1771-1840) Magnificent box set containing 14 medals by the artist-engraver, Manfredini was one of the prominent engravers in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. He taught at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera and between 1798 and 1830 was chief engraver of the Imperial Royal Mint of Milan - Opus: L. Manfredini - AE (all Ø between 25 and 62 mm) Medals in exceptional preservation with patina running through various colorations, all minted between 1820 - 1832, the very valuable case with relief work is unfortunately in need of restoration in the closing part. O´NEILL Y ROSIÑOL, JUAN (1828 - 1907) O'NEILL Y ROSIÑOL, Juan.- Handwritten letter sent from Palma de Mallorca to Mr. Alberto Álvarez de Sotomayor, dated April 1897, regarding the sending of two works for the general exhibition of Fine Arts in Madrid. Handwritten on both sides, signed at the end. Juan O'Neill y Rosiñol was a Spanish painter from the second half of the 19th century. XIX, disciple of Carlos de Haes, and academic of the Royal Academy of S. Fernando.
