Title and front, and 114 steel engraved plates, each with text leaf. (Somewhat rubbed and worn). The plates show various genre scenes, landscapes, views etc. from the National Gallery in London. Contains contrasting and clear illustrations of paintings by Raphael, Rubens, Rembrandt, Poussin, Titian, Velasquez, etc.. - Some spotting. - Bookplate.
