One volume. 23.5 by 23.5 cm. Unpaginated. 8 stenciled hors-texts, and numerous black illustrations in the text. Contemporary copper half-chagrin, smooth ornate spine, 1st cover retained. Copy in perfect condition. Lucien LAFORGE (1889-1952), press artist (La Charrette Charrie, la Baillonnette.) and illustrator (l'Abecédaire, Les Mille et Une Nuits.) was also a well-known painter in the Salon de l'Araignée created by Gus BOFA. A wonderful illustration of Perrault's fairy tales.

Bound, tears in margin of last leaf. Partial spine score, part for second piano. Attached is a large set of manuscript copies of scores by Auber, Rossini, etc., some signed Rigal, ca.1850. A photographic reproduction of a portrait of Berlioz (19th century print) and a portrait of Berlioz, engraved on chine, after Pierre Petit's photo, are included.
